Salvador Cortés Assistant Coach
Salvador Cortés is a Chilean football professional with over 12 years of experience in both youth development and the professional game, specializing in coaching methodology, physical preparation, and high-performance environments. Throughout his career, he has contributed to technical staffs across Chilean football, working as an assistant coach with clubs such as Deportes Linares, San Antonio Unido, and Iberia de Los Ángeles in the professional Second Division.
He also brings extensive experience as a strength and conditioning coach, including key roles at Cobresal, where he served as Head of the Physical Department within the youth academy and worked with both the Proyección squad and the professional first team. Additional experience includes Santiago Morning and Colchagua CD, supporting player development at multiple competitive levels.
Cortés holds a National PRO Coaching License (valid through 2026) and formal education in Physical Education, football coaching, and performance training. His work focuses on structured development, tactical understanding, and building competitive environments aligned with professional football standards.
Within the project, he contributes strategic planning, physical performance leadership, and a methodology designed to prepare players for the demands of elite football.
Francisco Prieto Goalie Coach
Francisco Prieto is a former Chilean professional goalkeeper with extensive experience competing at the highest level of South American football. Developed within the Colo-Colo system, Prieto built a respected career playing in Chile’s Primera División and representing clubs in both domestic and international competitions. Known for his strong positioning, composure under pressure, and leadership on the field, he also earned recognition within Chilean national team environments during his career.
After retiring from professional play, Prieto transitioned into coaching and goalkeeper development, bringing elite-level experience into high-performance training settings. His approach focuses on technical precision, tactical understanding, and the mental preparation required for players pursuing professional pathways.
His presence within the project contributes real professional insight, credibility, and a clear understanding of the standards required to develop goalkeepers in a competitive football environment.
Pablo Alvarez Physical Trainer
Pablo Alvarez is a Chilean high-performance fitness coach and Physical Education professional with extensive experience across youth academies and professional football environments. His career includes work in Chile’s Primera División and Primera B, contributing to competitive teams through advanced physical preparation, load monitoring, and performance methodology aligned with elite standards.
He has served as a strength and conditioning coach with clubs such as Ñublense, Deportes Recoleta, Deportes Valdivia, Deportes Iberia, and Deportes San Antonio, in addition to key developmental roles within Colo-Colo and Universidad de Chile youth programs. His professional experience also includes participation in international competitions, including Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana environments.
Alongside his club work, Alvarez has contributed to coach education as an INAF instructor and has completed ongoing national and international certifications focused on sports science, neuroscience applied to training, nutrition, and video analysis. His methodology emphasizes structured planning, teamwork, and performance optimization within high-demand football settings.
Within the project, he brings elite-level physical preparation expertise, modern training concepts, and a performance-driven approach designed to support players pursuing professional development.
Deyanira Jimenez Kinesiologist
Kinesiologist graduated from Universidad de Las Américas (Providencia), with a postgraduate diploma in Sports Rehabilitation and Post–Musculoskeletal Injury Recovery from Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB). Her professional focus centers on injury prevention, functional rehabilitation, and performance recovery within high-demand sports environments.
She holds specialized certifications in sports massage and post-operative rehabilitation, including ACL reconstruction and meniscectomy recovery protocols. Currently working in a traumatology clinic with approximately three years of experience, she has also collaborated with youth football programs, supporting athletes through structured recovery and return-to-play processes.
Her work includes personalized recovery sessions and in-home rehabilitation services, emphasizing safe progression, mobility restoration, and long-term athletic performance.
